Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 at Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father had the first interest to the stage. He performed on the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their baby son Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning TV show called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. They also founded an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
