Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian and American musician and singer. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk and alternative rock. But, they are influenced by hip-hop music, jazz, and punk. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own label 1990. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco.
