Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and author who worked at Fox News.
Her previous position was as associate professor of law at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She is a weekly guest presenter on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Presently. The Imus breakfast shows. Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's qualification from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 to 2001, she was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
