Kirsten Simone Vangsness is an American writer and actress who became famous after appearing as 'Penelope Garcia' in the cop-driven crime drama television series 'Criminal Minds'. Kirsten vangsness was also in two of the spin-offs "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" and "Criminal Minds: suspect behavior". She is mostly a television actress but has been in a couple of small roles in movies since her showbiz debut in 1998.
